This winter and summer resort town located in Pitkin County, Colorado, is often recognized through the setting of the popular Snowmass Ski Area, the largest of four area ski hills. Snowmass Village is situated in the heart of the Elk Mountains in proximity to the town of Aspen. The Aspen Snowmass resort area forms one of the world's most famous ski destinations, visited by ski and snowboard enthusiasts from around the globe. The fun doesn’t stop at winter sports; summer offers a wealth of activities including 4-wheel drive tours, biking, fly fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, paragliding and rafting. Several yearly rodeos and festivals are held at the Snowmass Village Rodeo Grounds and the Burlingame Lift provides summer sightseeing of the mid-mountain landing. The Snowmass Village streets are lined with a diverse selection of bars, live entertainment venues and dining establishments.
